We maintain close contacts with cities and countries in the region. We signed a twinning charter with the city of Aleksin in Tula Region, Karpo\u0161 Municipality in Macedonia, San Giacomo Degli Schiavoni in Camobaso Province, and Sremski Karlovci in Vojvodina.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We renewed our contacts and re-established brotherly relations with the Konjic Municipality of BiH, with which we were twinned before the 1990s. We are active members of the Adriatic Euro-region, comprised of 27 members from 7 countries, as well as the Euro-district comprised of five coastal municipalities from Montenegro, eleven municipalities in the Campobaso region of Italy and one municipality from Albania, which allows us access to European funds. We hold events with cities in Vojvodina, with Pula in Istria, and are actively involved in all events in Montenegro that properly promote the customs, traditions and culture of Tivat and Boka.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Municipality of Tivat is an active member of EURO-DISTRICT, an association of 17 cities from Italy, Montenegro and Albania, aiming at joint participation and activities related to applying for projects to receive funds from IPA pre-accession assistance funds.
