CIVIL BUREAU<\/strong><\/p>\n

When it comes to exercising the rights of the parties before the local government bodies of the Municipality of Tivat all information can be obtained at the Civil Bureau department.<\/p>\n

The Civil Bureau receives the requests of the parties for action, but also informs the parties about the submitted requests.<\/p>\n

Forms can be obtained at the request counters or downloaded electronically from the website of the Municipality of Tivat.<\/p>\n

Delivery of the request can be done by e-mail to the email address: pisarnica@opstinativat.me.<\/p>\n

The request is processed electronically via a program called “Hermes” , which allows the client to be informed about the status of the case via SMS.<\/p>\n

Within the Civic Bureau, the reception and expedition of mail, verification of documents (signatures, manuscripts and transcripts), issuance of workbooks, volunteer booklets, certificates of life and verification of statements about the home community are performed.<\/p>\n

An integral part of the Civic Bureau is the Archive Depot, which houses the archives of the Municipality of Tivat, starting in 1952.<\/p>\n

Work with clients is organized from 08:00 to 14:00.<\/p>\n

REGISTERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The registrars perform the business of marriage licences and ceremonies. Also, they inform the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Finance – Tax Administration, about scheduled weddings, and marriages.<\/p>\n

They issue excerpts from the Registry of Marriages on a regular and international form.<\/p>\n

They issue certificates at the request of the Ministry of the Interior on the records they have had since 1850, and they concern birth certificates, citizenship certificates and death certificates.<\/p>\n

Forms of statements can be obtained directly at the counter of the registry office or electronically at the website of the Municipality of Tivat.
