Medical workers appeal to citizens to respect all prescribed measures and not to come for testing on personal request. In case the citizens feel any of the symptoms, it is necessary to contact their chosen doctor, who will, after the examination in the covid clinic, if necessary, give them instructions for testing for the presence of coronavirus. Testing is performed every day from 8 to 9 o\u2019clock in the Health Center Tivat, it was said at the meeting of the municipal team for protection and rescue, which was chaired by the president of the municipality of Tivat, Zeljko Komnenovic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tivat is recording a large increase in the number of people infected with the coronavirus, and local governments are calling on citizens for discipline and extra caution in order to stop the local transmission of the virus. \u201cThe epidemiological situation in Tivat is complex and the local government is sending an appeal to the citizens to take care and strictly respect the recommendations of the medical profession. \u201cIn Tivat, last weekend we recorded a large number of guests from cities where stricter epidemiological measures are in force,\u201d said the mayor and announced more intensive controls by the Communal Police and municipal inspection bodies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Disinfection of school and preschool facilities, public areas and the building of the Municipality has been carried out in recent days. \u201cI thank the Utility Company and the Protection and Rescue Service for their high level of efficiency, which carried out these activities quickly and efficiently, and we will carry them out regularly every following weekend,\u201d said the vice president of the municipality, Goran Bo\u017eovi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meeting was also attended by the directors of Tivat school and preschool institutions: Katarina Hercegovac, Predrag \u0160u\u0161i\u0107, Ivica To\u0161ev, Jovanka Vuja\u010di\u0107 and Pina Bubanja. They assessed the situation in the institutions they manage as satisfactory, with the exception of the elementary school \u201cBranko Brini\u0107\u201d in Radovi\u0107i, which, due to cases of illness of employees, switched completely to the online mode.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Epidemiologist Dr. Jelena Mr\u0161ulja and pneumophthisiologist from the Tivat Health Center Dr. Vjera Lipovac Usanovi\u0107 pointed out the fatigue of medical workers, the great pressure that this primary health care institution suffers and raised certain issues that will be resolved at the level of the Health Center and competent state bodies, with the support local government, if necessary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Having in mind all the additional epidemiological measures that are applied with the entry of Tivat in the 2nd group, and relate to the work of catering facilities, the meeting was attended by Ton\u0107i Franceskovi\u0107 on behalf of the Association of Caterers of Tivat. He stated that \u201cthe umbrella association of Montenegrin caterers clearly expresses dissatisfaction with the measures of the National Coordination Body, and that caterers will not apply the prescribed measures from Thursday.\u201d Franceskovi\u0107 pointed out his fellow caterers from Tivat as a positive example of respecting all measures and emphasized that caterers cannot be treated as \u201cthe only cause of infection\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When it comes to the control of stricter epidemiological measures related to the work of catering facilities, the officers of the Security Department of Tivat will provide support to the Communal Police and the inspection bodies of the municipality. \u201cIn the last 15 days, we have conducted 219 controls of persons who have been sentenced to self-isolation. There were cases of non-compliance with this measure, which was prosecuted, \u201csaid the head of OB Tivat, Dragan Konti\u0107.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Red Cross volunteers are ready for all the activities that await them and they will be ready to work in the field, if so decided in communication with the local government. \u201cWe have lists of the most endangered Tivat families, which were created in cooperation with the competent municipal Secretariat and the Center for Social Work Tivat,\u201d said Dusko Bozovic, secretary of the Red Cross Tivat, noting that this organization was not spared cases of coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Emphasizing the importance of verified and timely information, the director of Radio Tivat, Dragan Popadi\u0107, said that the program of the local public broadcaster is broadcast uninterrupted, that verified information from official sources is used and that guest appearances of experts can be intensified on Radio Tivat. . In this sense, Radio Tivat will continue intensive cooperation with the leadership of the Municipality of Tivat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The president of the municipality announced a significant reduction of cultural, entertainment and sports events envisaged by the \u201cNovember Days\u201d program.
