{"id":42916,"date":"2024-02-06T13:47:22","date_gmt":"2024-02-06T12:47:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/opstinativat.me\/?p=42916"},"modified":"2024-03-28T13:48:47","modified_gmt":"2024-03-28T12:48:47","slug":"new-parquet-flooring-in-the-halls-of-the-elementary-and-high-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/opstinativat.me\/en\/new-parquet-flooring-in-the-halls-of-the-elementary-and-high-school\/","title":{"rendered":"New parquet flooring in the halls of the elementary and high school"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The gymnasium of the JU SM\u0160 Mladost received new parquet flooring at the beginning of February, while renovation works on the floor in the main hall of the JU O\u0160 &#8220;Drago Milovi\u0107&#8221; are currently underway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On this occasion, the facilities of the Tivat high school and elementary school were visited today by Vlado Brguljan, the Director of the Directorate for Investments in the Municipality of Tivat, and Maja Petrovi\u0107, the Corporate Projects Coordinator at Lu\u0161tica Development, which significantly supported the realization of both projects through donations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The replacement of the worn-out floor in the gymnasium of the Tivat high school has significantly improved the conditions for numerous students and organizations using the hall for sports activities. The total value of the works, amounting to \u20ac28,308.00, was carried out by the company &#8220;Musculus&#8221; Ltd. Lu\u0161tica Development donated \u20ac19,200.00 for this purpose, with the remaining funds provided from the budget of the Municipality of Tivat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;On a joint initiative of the basketball club &#8216;Probasket&#8217; and the Municipality of Tivat, a project was submitted to Lu\u0161tica Development, which once again responded to our request. Significant savings were achieved thanks to &#8216;Probasket,&#8217; whose young members organized the removal and disposal of the old parquet. This endeavor required almost a week of volunteer work, which is commendable,&#8221; said Vlado Brguljan, the Director of the Directorate for Investments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Lu\u0161tica Development is pleased to support projects in the field of education and sports, recognizing them as key elements of the proper and sustainable development of our society. We believe that investing in education and sports initiatives is crucial for prosperity and collective progress, and that youth engagement plays a crucial role in building and strengthening the community. Through these and similar initiatives, we aim not only to support the present but also to shape a better future for the young generations of Tivat. We will continue to collaborate with local partners and the community to achieve sustainable and positive changes,&#8221; emphasized Maja Petrovi\u0107, the Corporate Projects Coordinator at Lu\u0161tica Development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Works on installing a new floor in the large gymnasium of the JU O\u0160 &#8220;Drago Milovi\u0107&#8221; began on Saturday, February 3rd, and will last for about a month. The project is being implemented based on the Memorandum signed in December 2023 between the Mayor of Tivat, \u017deljko Komnenovi\u0107, and the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Montenegro. It involves removing the existing floor, preparing and installing a waterproofing layer, creating a base, installing PVC sports flooring of the type Taraflaks, marking court lines for basketball, handball, and volleyball, and installing floor skirtings. The works are being carried out by the company &#8220;Eurozox&#8221; Ltd., selected through the Ministry&#8217;s tender process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The total value of this investment is \u20ac53,433.60, of which the Ministry finances \u20ac29,705.50. Lu\u0161tica Development allocated significant funds for this purpose, amounting to \u20ac16,993.45, while the remaining funds were provided by the Municipality of Tivat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to representatives from the Municipality and Lu\u0161tica Development, today&#8217;s visit was attended by the coach of the basketball club &#8220;Probasket,&#8221; Goran Vukovi\u0107, as well as the management of both schools led by directors Marija \u010cu\u010dkovi\u0107 Vujnovi\u0107 and Slavka Mirkovi\u0107.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The gymnasium of the JU SM\u0160 Mladost received new parquet flooring at the beginning of February, while renovation works on the floor in the main hall of the JU O\u0160 &#8220;Drago Milovi\u0107&#8221; are currently underway.
