In the women\u2019s category, Nata\u0161a \u0160usti\u0107 (CRO) claimed the title of the fastest runner for the second consecutive year, with a time of <strong>02:56:03<\/strong>. Ivan Bubnov (RUS) and Marko Rankovi\u0107 (SRB) secured second and third places in the men\u2019s marathon, while Dubravka Mesec (CRO) and Elena Sokolova (RUS) took the same honors in the women\u2019s category.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI\u2019m thrilled to have won and improved my personal record by more than five minutes. The course is excellent,\u201d said marathon champion \u0110uro Borbelj.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the <strong>half-marathon<\/strong>, Viacheslav Sokolov (RUS) claimed victory with a time of <strong>01:09:18<\/strong>, while Nevena Jovanovi\u0107 (SRB) conquered the 21km course in <strong>01:19:45<\/strong>. Runners-up and third-place finishers in the men\u2019s half-marathon were Ilija Juki\u0107 (BIH) and Velimir Bojovi\u0107 (SRB). In the women\u2019s category, Biljana Cvijanovi\u0107 (SRB) and Ivana \u017divkovi\u0107 (SRB) took second and third places, respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>4th Boka Marathon<\/strong> brought together a record-breaking <strong>3,500 participants from 52 countries and six continents<\/strong>. A total of 2,700 runners participated in the marathon, half-marathon, and relay events, traversing the breathtaking scenery of the world\u2019s most beautiful bay, from Tivat to Kotor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The marathon was officially opened at Tivat\u2019s Pine Promenade by Mayor \u017deljko Komnenovi\u0107, who wished participants a beautiful and successful day:<br \/>\n\u201cThis is one of the largest events of its kind in the former Yugoslav region. I see smiles, enthusiasm, and great energy, and I hope we gather again next year in even greater numbers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The festive opening was highlighted by performances from the <strong>Tivat Music and Education Society<\/strong> and <strong>Modesta majorettes<\/strong>. Members of the ancient <strong>Bokelj Navy<\/strong> marked the start of the race with ceremonial volleys that lasted a full five minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event\u2019s <strong>general sponsor<\/strong> was the Municipality of Tivat, with <strong>gold partners<\/strong> including the Municipality of Kotor and the tourism organizations of Tivat and Kotor. Additional sponsors included <strong>Siro Boka, Supplement Store, Coca-Cola HBC Montenegro, Powder Ade, Voda Rosa, Logate, Imlek, D Photo, Hama, Una Montenegro, Garmin, Sea Point, and Hotel La Roche<\/strong>, as well as municipal companies <strong>Komunalno<\/strong> and <strong>Vodovod i Kanalizacija Tivat<\/strong>.
