The action was organized in cooperation with &#8220;Komunalno&#8221; d.o.o. Tivat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"317\" data-end=\"534\">During the operation, approximately 4 cubic meters of various waste were collected, predominantly consisting of plastic and glass bottles, tires, cans, remnants of tarpaulins, plastic pipes, and beach furniture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"536\" data-end=\"818\"><em>\u201cThe aim of such activities is to raise awareness that preventive measures are necessary to prevent waste from entering the marine environment, and that our seabed contains various types of waste that need to be removed and properly disposed of,\u201d<\/em> stated the municipal secretariat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"1059\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">World Environment Day was established in 1972 when the United Nations General Assembly held the Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm, highlighting the necessity of international cooperation for environmental protection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5), the Secretariat for Spatial Planning of the Municipality of Tivat engaged divers from the NVO &#8220;Arsenal Eko&#8221; to carry out an underwater cleanup along the seabed in the city center.
