CONGRATULATIONS OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE ASSEMBLY FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY

Dear fellow citizens,
On behalf of the Municipal Assembly of Tivat and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of May 21, the Independence Day of Montenegro.
By the will of the citizens, in a referendum on May 21, 2006, the independence of the state of Montenegro was restored, which opened a new chapter in its development. Fourteen years later, Montenegro is internationally recognized, a member of NATO, on its way to becoming a full member of the European Union.
With the desire to continue building the foundations of modern Montenegro, not forgetting that by personal example we contribute to mutual respect, understanding and closeness, I once again congratulate this great national holiday.
May Montenegro be eternal!
