Tivat in the global action “Earth Hour”

Tivat will once again participate in the global initiative "Earth Hour," promoted and supported in Montenegro by the NGO "Green Home" from Podgorica.

The global "Earth Hour" initiative is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The Secretariat for Spatial Planning invites citizens to join the action by turning off lights in their homes for one hour during the specified period, emphasizing the importance of collective action in combating climate change and preserving nature and its values.

During this time, the lights will be turned off in the Municipality building, and in cooperation with the company "Komunalno" doo, a part of the public lighting in the municipality, specifically in the streets of II Dalmatinska and Luke Tomanovića, will also be switched off.

"Earth Hour" is a global campaign against climate change initiated by the World Wide Fund for Nature in 2007 in Sydney, joined by numerous individuals, organizations, and cities, reminding us of the importance of preserving our planet.
