Submission of Requests, Applications, and Other Inquiries at Luka Tomanović 2, old municipality building, 2nd Floor

 

The offices of the Secretariat for Inspection Affairs and the Municipal Police Service of the Municipality of Tivat have been relocated, and public services are now provided at Luka Tomanović 2, old municipality building (rear entrance), 2nd floor.

Both municipal bodies operate during regular working hours, and the duty phone number of the Municipal Police remains unchanged, emphasized the Head of the Municipal Police Service, Gvozden Balšić.

“Citizens can submit their requests, applications, and other inquiries at the above address, while the online platform remains available as well Sistem48, through which any municipal issue can be reported. “Most submissions to our office concern illegal parking and the disposal of waste outside designated areas,” Balšić stated.

Municipal Police patrols regularly monitor critical areas of the city and, in cooperation with the special “tow truck” vehicle, sanction individuals who have illegally parked vehicles, in accordance with the Road Traffic Safety Law. The Municipal Police also often act on reports concerning cargo vehicles exceeding the permitted weight limit of five tons.

“We share offices with the Secretariat for Inspection Affairs, with whose staff we maintain daily cooperation in the field, including inspections of temporary and auxiliary structures as well as hospitality establishments. We provide support to the traffic inspector in enhanced control of cargo vehicles and verification of documentation required by the Road Traffic Law—such as employment contracts, tax certificates, licenses, and travel orders,” Balšić concluded.
