Boka Marathon from December 12–14: traffic restrictions during the weekend

Traffic Closures on Sunday, December 14: Tivat–Župa–Lepetane from 8:45–10:45 and Lepetane–Prčanj–Kotor–Old Town entrance from 09:00–15:30

The start of the festive program in Tivat will be marked by the fifth edition of the largest running event in Boka and Montenegro. Under the motto “Boka in the Heart”, over the weekend of December 12–14, the Boka Marathon is expected to welcome more than 10,000 runners and visitors along the “most beautiful bay in the world.” This year, in addition to the Half Marathon (21 km), Marathon (42 km), and Fun Run (5 km), the Boka Marathon will feature new programs: a 10 km Race and the children’s Boka Mile race.

Saturday (December 13): Traffic closure in Tivat

On the first day, Saturday, December 13, from 14:00, the event will take place in Tivat with three programs: the Boka Mile with four races for children of different age groups, the 5K Fun Run, and the 10K SIRO Race. During these events, traffic in the Tivat municipality will be temporarily closed along the following route:

21. Novembra Street – Pakovo – Ribarski Put – Kalimanjska – Luke Tomanovića – Njegoševa – Istarska – Veliki Gradski Park – Omladinskih Radnih Brigada – Jadranska Magistrala (Sv. Roko – Opatovo) – Obala Filipa Miloševića – Šetalište Seljanovo – Blaža Jovanovića – Porto Montenegro – Arsenalska, from 14:45–16:45.

Sunday (December 14): Traffic closure in Tivat and Kotor

Due to the Half Marathon (21K) and Marathon (42K) taking place along the coastal route from Tivat to Kotor, traffic in the municipalities of Tivat and Kotor will be temporarily closed on Sunday, December 14:

• On the Tivat–Župa–Lepetane route, from 08:45–10:45 (until the last participant passes);
• On the Lepetane–Prčanj–Kotor–Old Town entrance route, from 09:00–15:30.
