Seventh Chemical Treatment of Palm Trees on Wednesday

The Secretariat for Economy of the Municipality of Tivat informs the public that on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, the seventh chemical treatment of Canary date palm trees (Phoenix canariensis) in public areas will be carried out this year. The treatment aims to prevent the further spread of the red palm weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus).

The treatment will be conducted by the authorized company DOO “Ekoplant” from Podgorica. In case of unfavorable weather conditions (wind, rain), the treatment will be postponed, and the public will be informed in a timely manner.

Beekeepers in the Tivat area are kindly requested to adequately protect their bee colonies.
