Sixth Chemical Treatment of Palms on Friday

The Secretariat for Economy of the Municipality of Tivat informs the public that on Friday, September 5, 2025, the sixth chemical treatment of Canary Date Palms (Phoenix canariensis) will be carried out on public areas this year, aimed at preventing further spread of the red palm weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus).

The treatment will be conducted by the authorized company DOO “Ekoplant” from Podgorica. In case of unfavorable weather conditions (wind, rain), the treatment will be postponed, and the public will be informed in due time.

Beekeepers in the Tivat area are kindly requested to adequately protect their bee colonies.
