Tomorrow is the fourth chemical treatment of the palm trees

The Secretariat for Economy of the Municipality of Tivat informs the public that on Friday, 20th June 2025, the fourth chemical treatment of Canary date palms (Phoenix canariensis) in public areas will be carried out this year, aimed at preventing the further spread of the red palm weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus).

The treatment will be conducted by the authorized company DOO ‘Ekoplant’ from Podgorica. In case of unfavorable weather conditions (wind, rain), the treatment will be postponed, and the public will be informed in a timely manner.

Beekeepers in the Tivat area are kindly requested to adequately protect their bee colonies.
