Ban on lighting fires in open areas until September 30

The President of the Municipality of Tivat, Željko Komnenović, has issued an order prohibiting the lighting and burning of fires in open areas across the territory of the municipality from June 15 to September 30, 2025.

During this period, lighting fires in open areas is permitted only with prior approval from the Municipal Protection and Rescue Service. All green waste must be disposed of in designated containers, in accordance with procedures adopted by DOO “Komunalno” Tivat. Access roads to forest complexes must remain passable; therefore, parking vehicles or placing any obstacles on these roads is prohibited. The Secretariat for Inspection and Communal Supervision will monitor the implementation of this order.

Citizens are urged to respect the ban on lighting fires and to apply all fire protection measures. In case of fire, the Protection and Rescue Service must be notified immediately by calling: 123 or +382 (32) 671 318.
