Sanctions for Traders Due to Improper Occupation of Public Space

Appeal to Traders and Delivery Personnel to Follow Hygiene Standards

The Secretariat for Inspection and Communal Oversight responded to a citizen complaint regarding bread and other bakery products being improperly placed outside retail outlets. During the conducted inspection, officials identified three violations at one retail chain, which was sanctioned for improper occupation of public space.

This initiative will be forwarded to the Sanitary Inspection for further action, so that measures and procedures within their jurisdiction can be taken.

The Secretariat announced that inspections will continue and appealed to both delivery personnel and traders to adhere to hygiene standards in the future.
