Preparation of cultural events program for the year 2024

The Secretariat for Social Activities of the Municipality of Tivat informs that the preparation of the Cultural Events Program for the year 2024 is underway. The program aims to include events that:
  1. Affirm the municipality with high-quality content.
  2. Nurture cultural traditions (both tangible and intangible cultural heritage).
  3. Maintain a consistent level of quality throughout their duration.
  4. Contribute to the recognizable international promotion of the municipality and the country.
  5. Contribute to cultural diversity and inclusivity.
  6. Encourage new forms of artistic expression.
  7. Meet the needs of citizens and tourists.
  8. Attract a large number of visitors.
  9. Have a cultural and educational character.
  10. Contribute to the positive economic effects of the municipality.
Applications, using the prescribed form, should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Application for the Cultural Events Program - Secretariat for Social Activities", either directly at the Municipality of Tivat (Civil Bureau, 1st floor) or by post to the following address: Municipality of Tivat, Secretariat for Social Activities, Trg Magnolija 1, 85320 Tivat. The deadline for submitting applications is 15 days from the date of publishing this notice, or no later than March 12, 2024. Non-governmental organizations and legal entities from the territory of the Municipality of Tivat have the right to participate, provided that the events are fully realized within the municipality's territory. Public institutions and enterprises financed from the Budget of the Municipality of Tivat with funds designated for culture are not eligible to participate. Organizers who have not submitted a complete report on the implementation of the event from the previous year cannot participate in the allocation of funds for this year.
