The Municipality of Tivat funded the development of the main project for the reconstruction of the children's park in the residential area of Bokeljska Street (the SIZ buildings) in Seljanovo, with construction planned for this year. For this investment, as well as the renovation of other playgrounds and sports fields in 2024, more than 580,000 euros will be allocated.

The new park area includes a sports and recreational zone for children and adults, involving the reconstruction of the existing playground with new furniture and the construction of a multifunctional basketball court with removable stands and a new flooring, as well as the landscaping of green areas and footpaths, the reconstruction of the irrigation and lighting systems, and the planned improvement of the parking area in the vicinity, replacing the previously removed temporary structures-garages. The value of these works is estimated at 235,000 euros.

In the spatial planning program for 2024, alongside this investment, funds of 350,000 euros are allocated for the renovation of sports fields and playgrounds in the municipality of Tivat, including the construction of a new indoor sports field in the southern part of the Great City Park, near the Health Center.

In the previous year, the Municipality of Tivat spent nearly 343,000 euros for these purposes, with the most significant project being the renovation of the main stadium of the Arsenal football club (116,000 euros). An amount of 120,000 euros was allocated for the renovation of children's playgrounds and smaller sports fields in various locations in the city, and budget funds were also used for installing floodlights at the playground in the schoolyard (6,000 euros). The renovation of the gymnasium of the "Drago Milović" Elementary School is currently underway, and new parquet flooring has been installed in the gymnasium of the Mladost High School, both projects partly financed by the Municipality of Tivat. The renovation of sports fields in Donja Lastva was completed at the beginning of 2024, funded with 63,000 euros from the city budget.
