Agreement on cooperation between the Municipality of Tivat and the city of Omsk – a delegation from Tivat on an official visit to the Russian city

The president of the municipality of Tivat, Zeljko Komnenovic, and the newly appointed mayor of the Russian city of Omsk, Sergei Shelest, signed an agreement on cooperation today. The delegation led by the mayor left for Omsk on an official visit, at the invitation of the city administration to attend the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected mayor of Shelest.

Members of the Tivat delegation, which, in addition to Komnenovic, consists of Deputy Mayor Vladimir Arsic, Adviser for Economy and International Cooperation in the Office of the President Sanja Vukovic and Secretary for Spatial Planning Milica Manojlovic, participated in a solemn meeting dedicated to the inauguration in Omsk City Council.

The administration of the Russian city prepared a meaningful agenda for the delegation from Tivat. Komnenovic said that the goal of their visit was to strengthen friendship, renew economic cooperation and create ties between the two cities and the two countries, which would bring mutual benefits to their citizens. During the visit, the members of the delegation were guests of the electronic company MPO Mir, as well as the Metropolitan of Omsk Vladimir. During his visit to the MMA Club Sturm, Komnenović met with multiple world champion Aleksandar Šlemenko with whom he agreed to establish cooperation with the Tivat MMA Club, and launched an initiative for cooperation between the Tivat Sailing Club "Dolphin" and the famous sailor Sergei Shcherbakov. planet.
