Visit of the representative of the Forum of Slavic Museums

President of the Municipality of Tivat, Željko Komnenović, met today with the Director of the Forum of Slavic Museums, Andrea Rihter, and the Director of the Public Institution Museum and Gallery Tivat, Danijela Đukić, on the occasion of this institution’s participation in the Forum’s competition for the “Živa” Award.

Andrea Rihter, who is also a member of the jury for the award, visited Tivat's landmarks yesterday and today, gaining deeper insight into the work of the Museum and its upcoming projects.

The President of the Municipality informed the guest about the ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacities of museum activities in Tivat, as well as the local government’s initiatives to create a unified complex encompassing the existing Maritime Heritage Collection, the Great City Park, the Austro-Hungarian reservoir, and the Public Institution Museum and Gallery Tivat.
