Donation to public institution “KAKARICKA GORA” on the occasion of the international day of fight against drug abuse

Today / 26. June / marks the International Day against Drug Abuse, and the Municipality of Tivat on this occasion sent a donation to the address of the Public Institution for Accommodation, Rehabilitation and Resocialization of users of psychoactive substances Kakaricka gora. This is the result of many years of cooperation and the Memorandum of Cooperation, which the Municipality of Tivat signed with the mentioned public institution. The donation of the municipality of Tivat is aimed at equipping the room for occupational therapy. The Municipality of Tivat was a partner in the construction of the women's pavilion within this institution, and the Secretary of the Secretariat for Youth, Sports and Social Affairs, Darka Ognjanović, M.Sc., is an associate on the project. That is why it was decided to help equip this part of the institution. In this way, new activities in the implementation of occupational therapy will be enabled, and the users of the institution will be given the opportunity to acquire new skills, and to learn to perform tasks that will benefit them after the treatment. The Municipality of Tivat was the first in Montenegro to make a decision on co-financing rehabilitation treatment for users of psychoactive substances, from the territory of the Municipality of Tivat.
