On Monday, tree pruning works in the Large City Park

The Department of Spatial Planning informs the public that tree pruning works are planned in the Large City Park from Monday (December 18, 2023) to Wednesday (December 20, 2023).

The works are scheduled along the main promenade - Šetalište kapetana Marka Krstovića, from the park entrance on Istarska Street to the park entrance near the school center.

For these works, the Municipality of Tivat has engaged a specialized vehicle with a hydraulic lift with a reach of up to 22m, and the pruning will be carried out by Komunalno d.o.o., the manager of this protected natural asset, in accordance with the Management Plan.

As part of the works, the removal of dry, damaged, and diseased branches is planned, as well as the trimming of overgrown branches, all aimed at improving the vital and aesthetic characteristics of the trees and enhancing the overall state of this protected natural asset.

Due to the safe and uninterrupted execution of the works, the Large City Park will be temporarily closed during these activities.

If weather conditions during the planned dates for the works are unfavorable, the activity will be postponed, and the public will be informed in a timely manner.
