Second chemical treatment of palm trees tomorrow

The Secretariat for Economy of the Municipality of Tivat informs the public that tomorrow (Tuesday), April 23, 2024, the second chemical treatment of Phoenix canariensis palms will be conducted on public areas this year to prevent further spread of the Red Palm Weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus).

The treatment will be carried out by the authorized company "Ekoplant" LLC from Podgorica. In case of unfavorable weather conditions (wind, rain), the treatment will be postponed, and the public will be informed in a timely manner.

On this occasion, we also inform beekeepers from the Tivat area to adequately protect their bee colonies during the mentioned period.
