Celebrating the World Energy Efficiency Day
World Energy Efficiency Day is celebrated on March 5, in order to raise awareness about the necessity of reducing energy consumption. This day commemorates the first meeting where world experts discussed this topic, held on March 5, 1998, in Wales, Austria.
In order to mark this ecological date, on Monday, March 6, starting at 12 noon, in front of the building of the Municipality of Tivat, the employees of the Secretariat for Spatial Planning will distribute energy-efficient LED light bulbs for households and provide useful advice when it comes to saving energy in everyday life. .
By making small changes in daily habits, choosing more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient electrical devices and energy-saving light bulbs, replacing the carpentry in our homes and installing thermal insulation, we can achieve a significant reduction in electricity consumption and bills for used electricity, and make a personal contribution to reducing gas emissions with the effect greenhouses.
