Last nigh the Culinary Heritage Fair took place at the city's waterfront Pine, as part of the November Days program. Its intention was to present local restaurants, producers and agricultural households that offer traditional dishes. At the fair, the presentation "Monograph of the Culinary Heritage of Zadar County, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and Boka Kotor Bay" was held, which was created on the basis of research carried out as part of the project. Visitors to the fair had the opportunity to enjoy black risotto, mussels, brodet, cocotte in toć, carob cake, padishpanje, priganice and other Bokesh delicacies. Danijel Alibabić performed in the musical part of the program.
The main goal of the CUHaCHA project is to contribute to the development of tourism, through the preservation and improvement of the identity of the common gastronomic heritage in the program area. The total budget of this project is €710,946.94, of which the amount intended for the Municipality of Tivat is approximately €174,000. The project "CUHaCHA - Enhancing Sustainable ToUrismDevelopment through CulinaryHeritAge" which is implemented within the second call of the Interreg IPA cross-border cooperation program between Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro 2014-2020 was approved as part of priority axis 3 - Contribution to tourism development and cultural preservation and natural heritage. The leading partner of the project is the Agency for Rural Development of Zadar County - AGRRA (HR), and the other partners in the implementation of the project, in addition to the Municipality of Tivat, are the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Herzegovina - Neretva County - Canton (BiH) and - Zadar County ( HR). The project implementation period is from 15/08/2020 to 31/12/2022.
