The first Boka half marathon
The first Boka half marathon was successfully held in Tivat and Kotor. A competitor from Kenya, Simon Kiber, won the race, and he ran the 21.1 km long route from Tivat to Kotor in 1 hour and 7 minutes.
922 competitors from 25 countries took part in the half marathon. Out of that, 626 ran the race, and among them was the vice president of the municipality of Tivat, Goran Božović. The best placed competitor from Montenegro is Zeljko Dabovic in 9th place.
The competitors were greeted at the start of the race from the Pina waterfront by the mayor Zeljko Komnenovic and the race director Kristijan Sindik, and the program was organized by the Music Educational Society Tivat and majorettes from MK Modest.
