Announcement of the workshop on the topic “Butterfly – Aleurocanthus spiniferus”, a polyphagous harmful organism and a threat to productive citrus plantations

Bearing in mind the damage caused on the Montenegrin coast by the butterflyfish Aleurocantus spiniferus, the Directorate for Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs, the Department for Plant Health Protection and the Secretariat for the Economy of the Municipality of Tivat are organizing a workshop, at which producers, growers of citrus, vines will , pomegranates, bay leaves and other sensitive plants, familiarize themselves with the characteristics of this pest and measures to combat it.

The workshop, which will be led by representatives of the Administration for Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs, will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, starting at 11 a.m. in the Multimedia Hall of the Municipality of Tivat.
